On October 6th, 2015, the third meeting of the project “Sustainable consumption of information and communication technology in the digital society” took place at the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg, Germany. In addition to representatives from the University of Oldenburg, representatives from the Universities of Osnabrück and Lüneburg participated in the interdisciplinary consortium. The attendees discussed options for sustainable change regarding the consumption of information and communication technology by involving stakeholders in the innovation process. In addition, intended research projects and progress reports were presented. In the subsequent workshops, the participants discussed “Sharing Economy of mobile end devices” as well as “Degrowth & Sustainability”.

This web presence is part of the project “Sustainable Consumption of Information and Communication Technologies in the Digital Society − Dialogue and Transformation through open innovation”.
The project is funded by the Ministry for Science and Culture of Lower Saxony and the Volkswagen Foundation (VolkswagenStiftung) through the “Niedersächsisches Vorab” grant programme (grant number VWZN3037).
