In the winter semester of 2015/2016, the Osnabrück Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in European Studies (JMCE) will offer an interdisciplinary lecture series on the topic “Smart Europe? Challenges of Digitalization”. The first of these lectures will take place on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 18.15 in the Zimeliensaal of the university library (Alte Münze). Dr. rer. pol. Annegret Bendiek (Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik) will speak about Europe’s digital integration.
On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, Prof. Dr. Valdimar Hafstein (University of Iceland) will give a lecture on “Digital Traditional©: Distributed, Collaborative, and Cumulative Creativity” in the context of the JMCE lecture series. The presentation will start at 18.15 in the Zimeliensaal of the university library.
